That's the same rear window in the soft top that "what's his name" had on his roadster from Scotts Valley..........right? By the way, Dean, if you have the time in the next couple of weeks, could we talk?

Give me a call anytime -- The window was designed and manufactured by a friend of mine from Morgan Hill, it's an option on Sid's " Bop Top " it really cuts down the wind buffiting at freeway speed.

Not hot rod related but it is a view from the top and some of you may appreciate this bit of automotive trivia.
This is an aerial view of the test and proving grounds the company I work for owns. It was originally the test facility developed by Studebaker in 1926

They positioned a grove of trees that were carefully planted and manicured over the years that spells out STUDEBAKER that can be clearly seen here and is still maintained today. To give you a sense of scale, that is a 3 mile oval track. I have driven on that track several times, problem is you have to watch out for the deer and wild turkeys!

That is cool. It must be a blast to drive on the track. Is it paved? I have a slightly similar pic I'll post in another thread.

Tom, Yes the oval is paved, plus there are other areas with varying grades that are paved, along with Belgian block terrain and an off road coarse that is an absolute blast in the winter.
Yes, I still have the red 32, it is definitely a keeper. I first saw that car when I was in Jr. High, and I even kept the original Street Rodder all these years, it was dumb luck I found it when I did.

I wouldn't call it dumb luck. You have a real talent for finding cool hot rods with history.
