Vicky Butler-Henderson, from Fifth Gear. She came to attention in the UK when she presented a rival show to Top Gear, called Fifth Gear (on Channel 5). She has an MSA International C license, Kart National A license and Rally National B license so she’s quite well versed in anything from single seaters to tin tops and doesn’t mind getting dirty on the rough stuff.
A gravelly voice with a naughty laugh made her popular as well as her driving antics. Never shy to give a car the full beans in testing and she knew how to drive it too. She’s no Katherine Legge or Susie Wolff behind the wheel, but, she’s not going to be embarrassed in a race either.
Here’s a good clip of her in a Ferrari 458 on Fifth Gear
Came across this interesting photo from a story published is Penthouse Magazine back in 1996/97 about becoming the first woman in the world to go over 300mph in a top fueled. Rachelle Splatt from Australia.
