Probably older World Products Sportsman 2's, the older castings didnt have "WORLD" on the ends, and had a large "W" cast under the valve covers.. Depending on the competence of the guy who ported them, probably pretty good heads, maybe 280-290ish @ .500?? But yes, photos would be a help. No heat risers?

I have a set of World heads, they are cast iron Motown 220's. Angle plug, 64cc chambers (World also had these heads with 72cc chambers), 2.080 intake and 1.60 exhaust. Duration @ .050 is .244 intake and .252 exhaust. Spring diameter is 1.440. Mine are from 2007.

When I say "older" ones, I mean like 35 years...;)

Yup,early World Products, I dont know if they did 220's before they picked up the "Motown" motif and started splashing the external identifiers all over the outside of the heads, I cant remember. You can see for sure the chambers have been relieved, so these heads have definately had port work, they very well could be reworked sportsmans. If there are no external names on the outside of the head, like "Motown" or "World", these are at least mid nineties or earlier, I think they started putting all that crap on the outside of the heads around that time. I am not sure, but I think the 220s were always under the "Motown" name and had external lettering that reflected that. Maybe I will look at some old magazine photos from that time, and see if there were any 220s that didnt have Motown cast on the outside of the head.
I was big into street racing, we all sought out the early castings for that reason, you could still tell they were world heads if you really knew your stuff, but most guys couldnt visually identify the early unlettered world castings when they were on the motor.

EDIT: by no means definative, but I just spent ten minutes looking at World Products ads throughout the nineties, right up till '99, the sportsmans were the biggest sb head they sold, i am 99%comfortable now saying that the 220s were only sold under the Motown label.
