MICKEY HIMSL'S 1ST TRUCK

Ten yrs ago Mickey was at P-town & found his first car/truck.Built it when he was 14.Art painted it.Brandon & Aaron at East Bay Speed & Custom in Concord Calif.is going to restore it back to when Mickey built it.Art's going to do the paint work the 2nd time as well.As anybody that knows Mickey knows he'll be helping as well.I'll try to add as much as I can as they go.

Thanks Beppie; this is going to be a cool build thread !  Maybe it's just me but it looks like the wheelbase was shortened ??

When I was in High School In the early 60's in Sonoma Ca. A local rodder (Jim Noblet) owned the Moon Shiner. This car was the spark that got me into cars. When I saw the restored Moon Shiner at the GNRS, I couldn't take enough pics. of it. It brought back some great memories.

Glad you enjoyed it.Mickey just sold it Thursday.It leaves for it's new home Monday.I'am going to go & sit in it for the last time.
