Earlier this year I got to go with a group of people to visit a local guys collection of cool stuff. Holy shit.... One of the nicest guys I have ever met. He told me that it is nothing to own all of this stuff if you can't share it with others. Look close and enjoy..

A couple of the gas pumps are appraised at over 100 grand. He has a full time employee just to restore the pumps.

We walked into the shop area and it was just awesome. A black 57 chevy was on the hoist with the rear bumper removed. Lights are installed in the floor so when a car is up in the air it is totally lit up. The owner told me he loves 57 chevy's. He likes the roofline on the 4 doors and this one sure has a hell of a twist. Look close and notice the metal work. Front fenders, no rockers, moulded chrome strips and a lot of other things. The underside of the car is 100% Corvette. Frame, suspension and motor.

When I walked around to the other side of the car my jaw hit the floor. The passenger side had two doors. I told you this car had a twist. ;D

Sorry ts3x, I have no more pictures of the dragster. I do have some pics of real horsepower though. This artwork is incredible. I still think about it sometimes. The first pic is made out of car bumpers. The other two are obviously made out of lug nut wrenches. The proportions were flawless. End of the tour folks. It was a fun day. ;D

That 57 is incredible!  Did you get any more of the grille treatment?  Do you know who built it?
