It might have been a Gas class car in an earlier life Joe, but running with those front wheels and tires and having no glass I think maybe the owner was trying to cash in on the early funny car craze.
I know the basement floor is down there because it's holding everything up. I just can't see it anymore.

Just what I was going to say Larry, either an Altered, or match bash car, definitely not a gasser with no windows or front brakes.

From a 1963 Seattle roadster show program.

Moriarty on the #@%& owns this car now. I have another shot of it at a PNE show in Vancouver, and a couple more from a show in Edmonton in the late sixties. At that time Paul Savelesky had sold it to a guy in Alberta.

wow, I have seen shortened tri-5s before, but that takes the cake! That approach actually looks better to me than the ones where they just cut a pair of doors out of a wagon, and leave the rest full size.
