My buddy Bob sent me these pics of his '56 this morning, its a re-creation of his neighbors car that influenced him as a kid in the early sixties. Really nailed it IMO, pinner whites, baby moons and a corvette air cleaner, very cool. I am doing a similar deal on my '65 falcon, copying a car that influenced me when I was a young kid.

.

Some guys collect aluminum cans, Bob collects aluminum intake manifolds, he has some nice pieces there! Good looking '56 too.
Bob has some VERY cool stuff, like a chopped. channeled, full fendered '34 pu with a '49-'55 Olds rear that was built back in the day that he is renovating with a 324 Olds, an Austin A40 with a blown small block and a Jabsco water pump, that is slated for mech injection in the near future, and survivor late sixties cobweb paint on the fenders, some mag Delta blower pulleys, ect. Bob really "gets it".

Perfect in every way!
I know the basement floor is down there because it's holding everything up. I just can't see it anymore.

I found these at a couple of different shows. I usually forget to take my camera when I go to shows so I do not get many pictures.
