I know that the hardtop is more popular, but I dig the posts best - probably because they were more common as drag racers, plus my first project (at age 15) was a '55 post.  Never got it running as it was a basketcase and I couldn't afford an engine, but it was a hell of a lot of fun.

here is an old polaroid of the 57 that i built back in 69, at age 17.  and a 55 we built into a gasser, then a 57 that came fron LA

'57 210 family cruiser i just picked up. original V8 car out of Oakland. Currently has a vortec SBC and 4 speed. solid 10 footer. definitely a drive and don't sweat it kind of car.
