I picked up a pedal car last month - shell only.  So, I made it into a light fixture.

What is that ceiling material.  Looks like some rigid aluminum between the ceiling/upper floor joists in order to hide insulation as well as look "tech" in the space.  Also are those clips holding it in place?  Thanks.  bob

The ceiling material came from Home Depot and is called Galvanized Steel 5V Crimp Roof Panel.  It comes 26" wide and at least 8' long ($14.47)  It's an exterior metal roof just like a corrugated metal roof just not so busy looking.  Held in place with hex head screws with rubber washers, the same ones used for outside installation.

We used 8' sheets overlapped in the center since we thought a full 14'+ piece would be too much for my wife and me to install by ourselves.
It has a nice look and beats the hell out of sanding drywall!
