You are right about Jim Bucher George. He beat us in a rain delayed T/F final in Englishtown 1975 I think. If I remember correctly that was the last N.H.R.A Chevy T/F winner. He was usually right in the thick of things with his Chevy in a Hemi dominated world.  Jim
that 1970-75ish time was a very exciting era in Fuel racing. The development of successful RE cars, wheelpants coming (and going) Fuel racers were still real "hot rod" little guys, it hadn't become the corporate circus it did in later years, there was a lot going on, Donovans ect.

Ivo's twin inline Buick car. Built in 1962 he soon sold it to Ron Pelligrini when the NHRA lifted the fuel ban and he went racing with a Chrysler hemi instead.
I know the basement floor is down there because it's holding everything up. I just can't see it anymore.
