A European Vacation
« on: August 05, 2013, 03:28:23 PM »
June 28-30 of this year marked the fifth edition of the European Bug-In.  A number of DKP members hooked up with several out of state enthusiasts for a week of sight-seeing prior to the big event.  Joining them this year for his first trip to Europe was racing legend Darrell Vittone of Inch Pincher fame.  Many thanks to Steve Beecher for sharing his pics of the festivities.  The week begins with a trip to VW's Autostadt....

Lastly on to Chimay, Belgium for a wet Bug-In. :(  Fortunately, it didn't rain out the event though it did enough to close the left lane of the
drag strip and turn the show area into a muddy mess....

Seeing all that vintage stuff lining the streets of a bitchin' town does it for me
but then so do the museums.  The drag racing is frosting on the cake! 8)

Thanks for the pics. It looks like VW Heaven with a few other nice chariots tossed in for flavor
