It was also from the very first run of Z-06's, IIRC there were either 4 or 6 of them built in the first run in late '62, and they all raced at Riverside in the LA Times endure that this photo is from. There was an AWESOME shot on the cover of R&T, of the start, with Hooper beside Bill Krauses Cobra. Mickey Thompson owned this one. Theres a GREAT story about Dave McDonald driving the 00 Don Steves car back to CA with his wife, in the book about the 1964 Indy 500 crash that took Daves life. :'(

memory loss sucks. Hooper was behind Krause, not beside him... ::) ;D Still one of the most memorable R&T covers of all time.
