I hope they at least get moved up some, to me they detract from overall look of the car.

built that low it will be a fair grounds only car. oh sure they might drive a block or two after unloading , hopeing no speed bumps are along the way.to me a waste if you cant really drive them.

From Deuces and 40's facebook page by Craig Wise :

The Maude Dapper 32/5w 1973. I was working at Foster and Kleiser Outdoor Advertising Co in Los Angeles (Billboards) one of the guys I worked with came to me and asked of I knew what a Model "B" was, he was not a car guy so I wasn't sure where this was going but I was all ears, I said YES why do you ask, he told me his wife was taking care of an elderly lady and she owned a Model "B" Coupe and it might be For Sale...OK...lets go take a look...YEP there it was. Mrs. Dapper's husband bought it for her in 1934, had a "48 Merc engine, 40 juice brakes, repainted one time, original interior with Sears seat covers, just a very cool 32. I tried for two years to buy this car, took flowers, boxes of candy but she just wasn't ready to sell, she was 86 yrs old and still driving her treasured 32 Coupe. When she past on at 89 she left it to her foot doctor! I missed out but it was great to listen to all her stories about her journeys in this 32 Ford Coupe.
Living life at a 100 smiles per hour!
