I loved that one, especially the colour and the engine detail. The interior was really nice too, and I liked the "Greek" style belt line stripe. Really nice car.

IIRC, The colour was '53 Chevy horizon blue? Great choice, you would think with everyone being so focused on so-called "traditional" hot rods, there would be pale blue and pale yellow hot rods all over the place, considering how popular colours like ford goldenrod and pale blues and so on were on hot rods in the early/mid fifties?
Thanks for re-visiting that one for us beppie, a great example of a really nice period-correct car that totally fell flat with the current crop of "traditional" hot rod guys.

Nothing says fifties hot rod like a cowl mount antenna. I remember when Frank was building his sport coupe and he put one on, the neo-traditionalists didn't "get it". Beautiful car too, I will post some pics of it when I get home. One of the COOLEST features was he cut down an early fifties olds 88 steering wheel himself, man it looked sharp in there.

Didn't want to up-stage Don's unveiling ahead of time.  Didn't make it to the show due to work commitments.  Sorry.  I'm working the LITTLE CAR SHOW  in Pacific Grove today that Marina Motorsports Inc. is putting on.  Will post some earlier shots of the roadster later this week.  Thanks bob
