Another one which I can't find much info, other than it had a hemi and was featured in SRM March 1977.

Here's how it looked at the show.

Thanks !  It looks like the IFS came later, based on the cover pic.

Just as an aside, at the 1976 Un-Nationals rod run held in Laguna Hills, Ca., they started a run within a run called the Hammered Nationals strictly for Chopped vehicles. They awarded a special perpetual plaque just for these cars.

Roy's 32 sedan was the 1976 winner and I was the 1977 winner with my 40 Merc. you were supposed to bring the award back each year, but there were never anymore Un-Nats or Hammered Nats, so I still have the trophy.

Sadly, I just heard that Roy passed away yesterday.

We have lost another hero.

Since Chrismans shop is near mine and Art and Carl VonHofgarden were good friends perhaps I can help with some info . The Sedan while originally built by Roy Fjastad was eventually sold to Carl I believe in the late 80's . It was after that when Art and Mike Chrisman did a complete frame off re-build when among several modifcations they installed the blown 392 Hemi that Art built . Upon Carl's passing several years ago the car was passed on to his son , the current caretaker .

Thanks for the insight Phill, Gray Baskervilles coverage of the sedan in Rod&Custom was another one of his great features.
Get the stance right, followed by fit & finish.
