Shop Tour - Bruce's Rod Shop

First I must say no pics, sorry but I was so wrapped up with talking to Bruce and Danny that I didn't think about it.

Danny was working on his 5-w.  You'll probably see it soon in the magazines once it's complete; it a high quality build as they always do.  2 1/4" chop on a gennie body, rust repair on the bottom, rear subrails replaced.  Big'n'littles.  BBC.  The usual deal ( ;))  But then you notice the stainless roll bar.  and all of the fab work.   WOW !   They do all of their own tube bending in the shop.  Damn nice work.

And then I saw the other projects in progress - a '32 Victoria being re-wired, '32 sedan delivery (recent conversion) nearing completion of a full build, '32 b-400 with some minor touch-ups, '32 roadster - full build, another '32 roadster build, '36 roadster, and one of the worker's '27 T roadster.   Great stuff.  They know their stuff and build them to DRIVE!

I talked with that group a few years back at Bobby Waldens open house , they seemed like a couple of fun loving , hard driving hot rodders . Nice to see that they're doing well .

Since I didn't take pics  ???, here are a few from Instagram.

This first pic is where they park their own cars.  All deuces.  There is a B-400, a long-term 3-w project, a panel, a 5-w, a pickup, 4 roadsters, and a rpu.  All gennie bodies.

fab work detail.  Danny made these mounts for a nailhead to use sbc mounts.  This was done for more clearance up front.

I called with a question about Bruce's roadster. First Mrs Kay answers and gets Bruce on the phone and he takes plenty of his time to discuss his car and my project. Fine folks.
