Yep!---Thats when the Tigers were using Ford's new 221cid thin wall cast engines!
Then the 260's were used.

WRITTEN BY Daniel Strohl
This Tiger was also known as the Super Tiger and was originally configured at Lew Spencer’s Hi-Performance Motors. It then campaigned from 1965-1967, was driven by Gordon Chittenden, sponsored by Larry Reed Sportscars, and tuned at Performance Associates. He raced it at the LA area strips including Lions, Riverside, Pomona, Irwindale, Fontana, etc. His fastest time was 12.95 @ 108MPH, but I have not been able to find out when and where he did that.  Unfortunately, it appears that the record keeping for the AHRA was not the greatest as I only have a few times and dates for this car, but I do know that he had over 20 trophies.

Here's a beauty, although it's hard to match the ones already posted, especially the Doane Spencer build.
