This is just to get a Idea.Saw this on Ebay.
Original 1933-34 Ford truck headlight bar that has been reforged at the ends.  The bar has about a 2” drop from the original headlight socket height. A new formed round steel tube center has been installed and finished perfectly to the original ends. After welding the bar is cleaned and inspected for any deep gouges, scratches or pitting. All imperfections are v-grooved and welded. Both bar ends are then extensively  hand finished to what you see in the photos.

Photos show a bare steel bar with a light coat of WD-40 for rust protection.

These bars can be dropped more but this is about as far as I like to go with stock ends while maintaining the smooth flowing curvature Henry had. If a deeper drop is desired, I section in a piece of tapered stock between the mounting flange and light socket that allows me to maintain a smooth flowing curve. All the bars I build are available with a stainless steel center which can be polished to resemble a 1932 Ford Deluxe headlight bar.

I reforged my first light bar in 1972 and I have done quite a few since then. Although this is not my primary source of income I do maintain the service for many retail customers such as All Ford Parts, Roy Brizio Street Rods, Cornhuskers and many So Cal rod shops.
