Hot Rod Hundred St Louis October 10, 2015
« on: August 22, 2016, 09:32:12 PM »
This is the 2nd year for the St. Louis area Hot Rod Hundred sponsored by the Cross Members Car Club.  This is a driving event that ends with food and drink and no lawn chairs.  This year's event started in St. Charles, MO with over 90 cars participating.  We rolled out at 9:30 heading west on 2 lane roads through the wine country of Missouri past Daniel Boone's home with a gas and relief stop near Hermann, MO.  From there we travelled south on Rt 19 to Cuba, MO where we met and had lunch at Bob's Gasoline Alley.  It was a beautiful day with great weather, winding roads and lots of nice cars.  Here are some pictures of us at registration, many of the Deuces that participated and pictures of Bob's Gasoline Alley.  What an interesting place for people who like gas station memorabilia.

:) COOL stuff! THANKS for taking the time to include us!  After all the rain we've had lately in the south, would you explain what that blue stuff is in the sky?  LOL

Some great stuff in that collection.  That Deuce Stake truck has made a ton of cross country trips, I have seen it at many Nationals over the years!
Thanks for bringing us along.....................

This is the 2nd year for the St Louis area "Hot Rod Hundred"  The Cross Members Car Club also done "Hot Rod Hundred" runs in Oklahoma and in Texas the past 2 years with this one being their 7th run.

Participants received an email yesterday from the club thanking all of us for coming and asking for opinions, ideals, advice, anything we thought would improve the great time we were already having.

These guys are doing a great job and YES we are lucky to have them.
