This roadster was owned by Gene Howarth of San Diego, CA, from 1960 to 2010.  Gene was a charter member of the Prowlers car club of San Diego.

To me it will always be the Bill Woodard Roadster. Back in 1976 I was at the Sievers Brothers farm in Indiana and Paul (or maybe it was Bernie) showed it to me. He seemed surprised when I recognized it as the Woodard car, but there was no mistaking it, the molded hinges gave it away along with a few other details.
I know the basement floor is down there because it's holding everything up. I just can't see it anymore.

Roadster Pick Up *Rare*

Rare for sure, and some of the hardest to find parts are there too. I think the windshield might be difficult to locate but even worse are the top bows which were often removed and discarded. The top was fixed so if you wanted to run topless it had to come off. RHD, I wonder where it came from, and also it looks like the front axle was modified for '35 and up spring and perches but maybe still has the '32 wishbone. Maybe that was a "farmer fix", looks more like a stocker than an old rod.
I know the basement floor is down there because it's holding everything up. I just can't see it anymore.
