You can get a repop from Alumicraft Grilles.   Go to alumicraft.com.  Very nice stuff.  I’m contemplating one for my roadster, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

Wow that's a lot of $$'s for something that should be on a stocker.

Ya it is, but it's a heck of a lot less than an original Pines Winterfront.  It's funny, my dad said the same thing "they don't belong on a hot rod", yet I see them on hot rods all the time.  Probably more frequently on hot rods than restored cars.

Time for a lecture...blah blah blah.........  It seems as though so many guys in the hobby continually try to find ANYTHING that is different or out of the main stream....even if it really doesn't fit.  We saw it with Model T's.  As soon as the basic restorers finished, then all of the accessories had to come out of mothballs and be stuck on a very simple car, resulting in a parade car of sorts.  Then the Model A's.  Simple cars with one spare tire in the back went to dual side mounts with trunks, spot lights, air horns, cut outs, chrome wires in the wheels, and double white walls (in and out).  Then the V-8's, the Tri-Five Chevys etc. etc.  I love the simple Hot Rods.  Street Rods with tilt steering and air are great for the cross county runs or sitting in traffic on the 405.  I've seen the Pine Winterfront grilles on a lot of 32's and thought that they were best placed on the Right Coast where they were needed in the Winter.  For beauty...they still look great on a Duesenberg!  End of Diatribe.........

The funny thing I've observed is the Pines grill (cold weather climates) is often paired with the 25 louver vented hood (warm weather climates ). Kind of an oxymoron of the functional variety.
Get the stance right, followed by fit & finish.
