Apart from the wood in the Aussie bodies another difference is that Aussie Tubs dont have the seams down the rear section whereas the American bodies have two seams.
Life is like a toilet roll. The closer you get to the end the faster it goes.

Originally built in Australia in 1932.

I've been keeping this lowkey until money changed hands.
I got this 32 tub body out of a gully in 1976.A wrecking yard that closed in 1965 pushed all the cars into the gully.
The body was complete but cut in 2 thru the rockers in front of the center pillar.
As a 16 year old living in country Australia it was beyond my means to build it at the time.
My friend I sold it to,put it on a chassis, steeled the body out and painted it black and put it in the corner of his garage where it sat for 39 years.most people never knew the car was there.
Today,I closed the deal and it will be in the US and in my garage. So my first 32 will also be my last 32.
It will be a black, flathead powered fully fendered car
Enjoy the photos
Patina is earned,not applied

I would like to know what kind of wood they used.In the early 70s I stored a 1934 tub that was shipped from aus. and couldn't even cut the pallet it was shipped on with a skill saw.The body was very heavy.
