Excellent info, thanks Danny !

It is interesting that, in Australia, they only made the phaeton, roadster, sport coupe, and fordor.  I know that the Australian phaeton & roadster had a lot of wood framing in the bodies.  The sport coupe seems to be an unusual choice for coupes; there must have been a production reason for it as opposed to the 5-window.

Maybe I missed the pickup, roadster pickup, and ute.  Where are they on this list ?

I guess Tudors must have been the best sellers.

It sure would be cool to have a registry of original (Henry Ford built) 1932 Fords that have survived.  I know it would be tough to verify originality these days but it would be fun to see whats out there.

Here is a list of Fords imported into New Zealand in 1932:-
Phaeton                        1
Roadster                     60
Tudor                          62
Fordor                       175
5W Coupe                   37
3W Coupe                   17
Victoria                         3
Commercial chassis      56
BB truck                      16

These cars were shipped from Canada as both countries were part of the British Commonwealth and the rate of Customs import duty was lower than if shipped from the USA. Canada also supplied these cars in the right hand drive configuration.

Life is like a toilet roll. The closer you get to the end the faster it goes.

This gives an idea of "Survivors" over the years.
