60s T-shirt iron-on.
Jeez, when I was teenager, there was a store in my town that did this. You would go in and pick your design off the wall, and they would press it on the shirt right there.

my personal favorite, not because of the shirt itself, but because of the events surrounding it. One of our immediate circle had broke his regular race car a couple days before the event, borrowed a 17 second BMW and went the distance in it, winning an NHRA gold card in the process. We went out early, were watching him advance round after round after round against the best bracket racers in Div 6, driving a slow, unfamiliar stick car he wasn't used to with a string of double 0 packages, when the win light went on in his lane in the final round, we went ballistic. A truly heroic performance!

Even cooler was sending away for an Isky catalog in the early '60's. Seems like the catalog was .25 and included was an iron on transfer of the Iskenderian Poly-Dyne parrot and logo. Mom ironed mine on a new t-shirt and I wore it proudly, even if I had no real clue about camshafts when I was twelve. The key was a very hot iron and don't move the paper transfer. Thanks ma!
I know the basement floor is down there because it's holding everything up. I just can't see it anymore.

A couple of iron-ons I got from Larry Watson a long time ago when he wanted to use my Merc in a movie he was planning to produce. I never used the iron-ons & the movie never got produced.
(sorry they don't fit in the scanner very well)
