Got off my ass and dug up a pic of Jan Harrison. Second pic could be her with no makeup, seems pretty plausible??

Edit: Sebring 1958^^, #16 was a factory team car, 250 TR 58 driven by Olivier Gendebien and Luigi Musso. The photo I posted of Jan standing wirth Carroll in front of John Edgars 450S was also 1958, so both photos are roughly same time frame

Looks like the 1958 Sebring was one of Olivers less successful days at the races... :o ;D

EDIT: wow! I spoke too soon, I checked the race results, looks like they finished second overall, in SPITE of running over Walt Hansgen!! :o

John Von Neumanns daughter Josie in one of her dads 250TR's.

I talked about John Von Neumann, and posted a pic of Josie racing elsewhere on here. She is of some significance in American Road race history. She started out racing her dads MG in "ladies races", quickly decided she wouldn't do that, and would only run mains with the men, which she frequently won. Keep in mind, when you talk about winning mains in SoCal in the late fifties, you are talking about beating Ken Miles, Carroll Shelby, Dan Gurney and Walt Hansgen. She was no poseur, she was the real deal. She was also the first woman to earn a USAC license.
