Just when you think you've seen it all...  Always with an eye on performance, back in 1969 Porsche experimented with a racing-spec
908 8 cylinder engine stuffed into the middle of a 914.  At 350hp, in a lightweight, mid-engine configuration, you'd have to think that
would be an e-ticket ride!  They built only two; the red for Ferdinand Piech and a slightly de-tuned (300hp) silver one for Ferry Porsche
on his 60th birthday.  The quad headlights are the give-away. They both reside at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart.

You could save a load of money and probably have just as much fun right here though... ;)
